Englisch: Sachsenröder is a manufacturer of vulcanized fibe SAVUTEC®, a very resistant, and 100 % natural material made from the renewable raw material cellulose. Since 1881, Sachsenröder has been parchmentizing special cotton linters and cellulose papers using sulfuric acid to produce 0.1 mm to 1.0 mm thick vulcanized fiber webs. With its high strength, mechanical resilience and extreme tensile strength, this ecological material offers a wide range of applications. Vulcanized fiber SAVUTEC® is biodegradable without residues.
