The Ministry of Rural Affairs and Consumer Protection Baden-Württemberg supports the development of biobased and biodegradable tree shelters as part of its funding for the development of a sustainable bioeconomy. Thus, two preliminary projects of the University of Applied Forest Sciences and other partners were funded by the Ministry of Rural Affairs and Consumer Protection Baden-Württemberg. The Ministry also supports the project by funding two product challenges, which are intended to support the initiation of cooperation and enable rapid market introduction.
